Frequently Asked Questions
The rules of Ludo are simple. Roll the die and move your pawns the number of spaces indicated. You can send back your opponent's pawn by landing on the same space. The first player to make a round of the board and get all their pieces to the center wins.
Different players have different rules when rolling a "1" in the game. Some follow a simplified rule where rolling a "1" permits them to move a pawn one step forward. However, others treats "1" with the same rule as "6." Under this, when a player rolls a "1," they can make a choice: either move a pawn out of their base and onto the starting position or move a pawn that is already in play.
When a six is rolled, the player can choose to either move a pawn out of the base onto the start position or move a piece that is in play. When six is rolled from the die, the player gets an extra roll after the move.
If a six is rolled three times in a row, the player loses a turn.
Ludo, Pachisi or Parcheesi, is a great pastime for all age groups. It is said to be originated from India, that evolved from the game of “Chausar”, which was played by Kauravas and Pandavas.
The most common trick in Classic Ludo game is to unlock all the pawns soon. Also, players normally move two pawns together, one acting as a shield for the other.
There are different types of Ludo to explore. Except the classic mode, there are Double Rush and Battle Mode.
Double Rush: The first player to move two pawns to the center of the board wins the game.
Battle Mode: It is same like Double Rush, however there are shields(to protect a pawn), and bombs(to destroy a pawn) on different spaces of the board.
The first player to move two pawns to the center of the board wins the game. To add spice, there are shields and bombs on the board. If a pawn is in a space with the shield, the pawn will not be harmed by another unshielded pawn. If a pawn is in a space with the bomb, it will go back to the starting spot.
Use the “sixes” well. According to the priority, unlock the pawns, move pawns to safe spaces, destroy opponent’s pawns and play safe near home(center).

Keep moving all the pawns.
Keep close eyes on the opponent’s pawns, especially those that are about to reach the center(home).
